OBVERSE ATTRIBUTES: All of the Stars and and all of the lettering of the Motto, E. PLURIBUS UNUM, are doubled rimward. The Denticles below and to the left of Date are filled. Die chips can be seen between the loops of the first 8 (left side) and between the loops of the second 8 (right side). Markers: None. REVERSE ATTRIBUTES: None. Markers: None. COMMENTS ON POSTED COIN:- This coin has all of the attributes associated with the VAM-5. While this coin certainly appears to be a VAM-5, my Page Heading notes this as a Variety Not Certified (VNC) as it has not been certified by the PCGS, NGC, or ANACS as a VAM-5; nor has it been confirmed as a VAM-5 by the VSS.
- The Date is set in the Normal position (Normal Date).
- This specimen does not have the chip that is noted as being present at the left side of the first 8 of the Date.
- There are two die file lines present at the back of the Nostril. Information contained in VAMWorld's VAM-5 Page notes that these lines "may be found well preserved esamples".
- Die file line activity is seen in the Wing-Neck Gap and the Bow.
- A gouge is present at the left side of the Eagle's Right Leg (Left Leg as viewed).
- This specimen's Mint Mark appears to be set a bit to the left and might be tiled very slightly to the left. But, it falls within normal positioning tolerance.

This specimen does not have that chip. This Variety is suppose to have filled Denticles below and to the left of the Date.
