Obverse: III2-9
  • Date set at the Far Position.
  • Die crack from the bottom of the 5 into the field and lower hair ending in the field above RS5.
  • Clash of reverse RW5 at the cap vee.
  • Die crack from the wheat kernal above LIBERTY into the field just above the hair.
  • Dense polish lines in LIBERTY and in/around the cotton bolls.
  • Die marker - Single diagonal polishing line to right of junction of two lower cotton leaves.
  • Horizontal polish lines and pitting inside the ear opening.
  • Weak wreath claash at Liberty's nose, chin and lips.
  • Clash of the top of the eagle's right wing below the n of In at Liberty's neck.
  • Clashed die with faint tick of n of In from reverse at Liberty's neck.
Reverse: C3a.
  • Thick polish line at the top inside of the wreath bow opening.
  • Die crack from LW3-LW5 across the lower part of bow, into the field and through the LL of DOLLAR.
  • Weak die crack across RW4-RW5.
  • Dense polish lines in the upper and lower tail feathers, eagle's left leg triangle void as well as the wing-neck gap.
  • Debris in the eagle's right leg triangle void.
  • Distinct horizontal polish line to the left of the eagle's right leg across the upper tail feathers.
  • Clash of Liberty's neck at the top of the eagle's right wing just below the n of In.
  • Cap vee clash at the inside of RW1.
  • Clash of Liberty's nose,lips and chin to the inside of the left wreath.
  • Die crack(s) thru the left and right stars and NE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Very weak crack at the top of RW5.
