Obverse: III2-2
  • Dash under second 8 in date. Slightly doubled 1 at lower left and upper right of vertical shaft, 3 at bottom inside of lower loop. Dots at the In obscured on this specimen by foreign matter.
  • Strong wreath clash at the cap vee.
  • Minor doubling at the top of Phrygian cap.
  • Die gouge at the top left of the I in PLURIBUS.
  • Minor doubling at lower inside of ear. Die gouge at the lower inside of ear along with polish marks.
  • Wing clash mark at Liberty's neck.
  • Die marker - Diagonal die polishing lines in IB of LIBERTY.
Reverse: C3a.
  • Mint mark centered and upright and set slightly left.
  • Dense polish lines in the upper tail feathers.
  • Distinct horizontal line in the eagle's left leg triangle void.
  • Cotton boll clash mark below eagle's left wing.
  • Hair curl clash marks at eagle's neck front, at the top of and behind eagle's head.
  • Liberty's neck clash at the top of the eagle's left wing below the In.
  • Strong cap vee clash at the inside of RW1.
  • Noticeable polish lines in the fields.
  • Denticle inpressions below In and above left S in STATES.
  • Die marker - Short diagonal polishing line at top left inside of II O mint mark.
