Date	Mint Mark
The 1 may be slightly doubled at the top bar and flag. This particular coin has post mint damage affecting the date.	The mint mark is set left, low, and tilted left (LLL44). A hint of a re-punch and a chip are at the bottom of the inside loop. The reeds are clearly defined at this region.

Listed Attributes

Doubled Inside Ear at Right Wall of Cavum	Vertical Die Scratch at Neck
The ear is doubled at the posterior inside wall of the cavum and also at the upper outside wall of the helix. The hair line is doubled as it crosses the top of the ear and continues to the right. A notable gouge extends onto the cheek from the hair curl below the ear lobe. Another gouge extends onto the cheek from the anterior inferior margin of the ear lobe.	A long and curved vertical scratch extends diagonally onto the neck from the lower bust curl (attributed). A horizontal scratch extends from the neck to the ankle of the left bear claw. Numerous lines radiate onto the neck from the lower bust curl.

Die Markers for the Obverse

LIBERTY	Wheat
Notable pairs of diagonal polishing lines cross the feet of L, T, and Y and the upper bars of I, R, Y. Zoro strikes a "Z" near the base of the wheat and cotton leaf gap. A horizontal line crosses the middle of the Z.	A notable line is between the middle wheat leaf and right grain at the divergence onto the field..

Cap Top	Denticle Marks
Field beveling extends from the folded wheat leaf along the cap top to the bun (and reappears at the cap V). There may be remnants of wreath clashing outside the margin of the beveled field. Cracks and a gouge radiate from the lower outside loop of the S toward the text stop. A notable horizontal line intersects the cap bun at the level of the cap fold and extends into the fold.	Denticle indentations, commonly seen in the 83-O series, are present from 11:30 to 1:30. Minor notching is visible at the lower left serifs of the I and B.

Cotton Bolls	Cap V
Two gouges are near the base of the lower cotton leaf and adjacent to the base of the right husk of the right boll. A line extends from the right husk of the right boll onto the cotton leaf. A line runs along the cap at the top of the right cotton boll. Two to four horizontal lines cross the cap fold; one of which extends to the left of the cap fold.	Field beveling extends along the margin of the cap back and into the cap V. A remnant of a wreath clash touches the lower arm of the primary cap V and the lower arm of the secondary cap V (Thus, the beveling of the field at the cap top and at the cap V indicating die repair for a clash event). Two lines form an inverted V that extends from the cap bottom onto the hair locks.

Eye	Nose and Lips
A die chip is centered on the globe. Another chip is centered between the front of the eye and the bridge of the nose. A geometric die chip is on the nose at the level of the lower eyelid (Needs to be verified; possibly a pushup). Field beveling extends from hair line along bridge of nose down to the level of the lower eyelid. A small chip is on the cheek mid-way between the level of the lower eyelid and the hair line.	Five short horizontal lines bridge the cheek to the lower lip along region immediately below the angle of the mouth.

Jaw and Neck Lines	D-Void, Hair Swirl, and Hair Vs
Beveling of the field extends along the jaw line to the neck line. Denticle indentations. No evidence of clashing.	Two small chips are located along the inside right wall of the D-void. A distinctive line crosses the superior 1/4 of the hair swirl. A long and curved vertical scratch extends diagonally onto the neck from the lower bust curl (attributed). A horizontal scratch extends from the neck to the ankle of the left bear claw. Numerous lines radiate onto the neck from the lower bust curl. No clashing at the neck hair V.
